Epoxy, because of its chemical structure, does yellow over time. However, with newer products in this market, there are resins that are made to slow down this reaction and maintain the floor’s color the same as when it was poured. The best product being a polyaspartic resin that is both UV protectant and very scratch resistant. Although this product does have its pros and cons, there are many other newer products that include some type of protection against “yellowing”.

If your floor was done by a professional, using industrial grade products who took the time to prep correctly, then your floor is looking to last about 10-20 years.
